- Janny graduated in July 2004. She worked as a post-doctoral fellow in Dr. Stuart Orkin’s Lab at the Children’s Hospital at Harvard Medical School and as a Senior Scientist at Advanced Cell Technology. She is currently a Senior Scientist at Pfizer.
Research Interest: The research is focused on investigating reprogramming of human somatic cells (generation of iPS cells) using purified proteins and their therapeutic potential as regenerative drugs. Tagged reprogramming protein candidates are expressed in mammalian, bacterial, as well as baculoviral systems and purified. Different strategies are under investigation for maximal delivery and reprogramming efficiency.
