The Molecular and Cellular Pharmacology Training Program Spring 2024 Seminar Series is welcoming Dr. Chantell Evans, PhD on Monday, April 29 at 12:30pm in HSLC 1345.
She will present: “Investigating the temporal dynamics of mitochondrial turnover in neurons”
Dr. Chantell Evans is an Assistant Professor of Cell Biology and HHMI Freeman Hrabowski Scholar at Duke University. The mission of her lab is to ask ambitious and relevant questions related to mitochondrial biology and neuroscience that expand our understanding of mitochondrial regulation and neurodegenerative disease. She is a graduate of the UW-MCP program where she completed her PhD in the Chapman Lab in 2016.
