Biography

Research Interest

We study the neuropharmacology of mental illness using rodent models of the discrete behavioral deficits seen it schizophrenia, PTSD, depression, and anxiety. Our goal is to identify novel neural substrates that can be targeted for future drug development efforts to treat these illnesses.  We utilize a systems neuroscience approach incorporating techniques ranging from studying individual neurons all the way to awake, behaving animal.
