Kalina Reese Awarded NSF GRFP

Congratulations to Kalina Reese (Ge Lab) who was recently awarded by The National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program ( NSF GRFP). The program is awarded to students pursuing research based masters and doctoral degrees in STEM. This five year fellowship provides three years of financial support, cost of education allowance, and professional development. Kalina’s research involves the characterization of the human cardiac proteome through induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) and top down mass spectrometry, with particular focus on protein pathway dysregulation in developmental and disease states.
