Kent Jorgenson (Hornberger Lab) was recently awarded a Spring 2020 Student Research Grants Competition Award for Research Travel by the UW-Madison Office of Diversity, Inclusion, and Funding in the Graduate School. Funding for these awards is generously supported by the Vilas Trust and the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation (WARF). Kent’s research focuses on the Deposition of Newly-Synthesized Proteins During the Mechanically-Induced Hypertrophy of Myofibers.
